Renegades Home Opener This Weekend 05/01/08 Team Press Release The Alabama Renegades Women's Full Contact Football Team will kick off their home season of play Saturday, May 3. The Renegades will face the Cincinnati Sizzle, owned and coached by NFL veteran Ickey Woods. The game starts at 7:00pm in the Renegades new home field, Louis Crews Stadium at Alabama A&M. "The ladies are very excited to be playing in such a great stadium and we are really looking forward to having a huge crowd at the game", stated General Manager Lori Campbell. The Renegades had a huge win last weekend when they beat Pensacola 60-58 for the first time ever in the team's history. They are now 1-1 on the season. The Sizzle lost their first two games of the season. This is the first time that these two teams will meet. Tickets for the game are $12 for adults and $5 for kids. Children 12 and under are free. Don't miss the exciting, hard-hitting action of women's full contact football this weekend. The Alabama Renegades are part of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA). There will be eight games played in the 2008 regular season. The team will travel to Cincinnati, OH, Louisville, KY, Chattanooga, TN, and Pensacola, FL.
